CHINO AIRPORT: WHERE OPPORTUNITY TAKES FLIGHT
This piece attempts to show the diversity and history of the Chino Airport in Southern California. We produced this video for the County of San Bernardino and the Chino Airport. Regional airports such as Chino play an important roll in aviation as well as the economies of the towns that surround them. Chino has a rich history dating back to just before WWII. It is home to two aircraft museums, one prides itself in maintaining flight ready historical aircraft. It is not uncommon to see a vintage P-51 Mustang or other vintage planes flying around the airport. Chino has also become the home of many plane restoration businesses and avid vintage plane owners.

This is the companion piece to Chino Airport: Where Opportunity Takes Flight. You might recognize test pilot Dick Rutan as our host. He exemplifies the persona of the test pilot. Off set we were eating at Flo's, the famous diner located at Chino, he was telling us various stories about his piloting experiences, and I looked around the diner and you could pilots at the nearby tables leaning in keepine up their individual conversations, but trying to listen to what Dick was saying as well. I swear I could hear the music to the "Right Stuff" playing in the background.
